  •    Dear ASAW Members and Prospective Members,

The American Saddlebred Association of Wisconsin (ASAW) had an exciting year in 2010.  The goal of the Association this year was to increase our communication by reaching out to as many Saddlebred owners in the area by using broadcast emails to advise our members and potential members of the activities within the Association.  We also used this type of communication to ask for volunteers for upcoming events we were involved in and it turned out to be quite successful.    <read more...>

Welcome

Welcome to the American Saddlebred Association of Wisconsin website!   The ASAW is dedicated to promoting, creating and maintaining interest in the American Saddlebred horse and horse shows.

The ASAW was originally founded in 1942 as the Wisconsin Horse Association and over the years has evolved into a premier Saddlebred Association and Charter Club of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA).  The purpose of the Association is to promote this beautiful breed throughout the State and the upper Midwest.  The ASAW’s work takes on many forms, including the presentation of our very own horse show held annually in West Allis, WI.   In addition, we promote the breed through clinics, demonstrations, a promotional and information booth at various equine events, the ASAW scholarship program and our annual Awards Banquet.

If you haven’t joined the ASAW already, click here for more info, and we hope to see you soon.
